My New Work Pants

My New Work Pants

EVERYONE can relate to the struggle of finding a great pair of pants to wear to work that is sleek, professional, comfortable and most importantly, FITs WELL! You know you’ve hit the jackpot on pants when you immediately go back to buy them in every color.

For context, I work in a pretty conservative environment where suits are the uniform. I usually lean towards pieces that are as classic as possible to get the most mileage out of it and also because trendy pieces just don’t seem to fit the work culture I’m in.

I broke my rule recently when I found these amazing high waisted wide-leg cropped pants at Zara. I saw a chic woman rocking them at a conference, made her tell me where she bought them, and ordered them that night.

The material is a nice quality and texture and stays wrinkle-free! The high waist keeps shirts and camis tucked in and hides the pooch well! The wide-leg makes me feel like I’m wearing a skirt and I love how flowy it is. I would say, it looks a lot better with heels instead of flats but that’s just me. The only feature I wish it had were pockets!

I can see myself wearing these at work or to an event and at the affordable price point, I don’t mind giving into the trend!
