*Holiday Gift Guide 2020* - For the Women

Here’s part two of my 2020 gift guide for the special women in your life. These are items I’ve had my eye on or have personally used. No sponsored products here but feel free to let any of these brands know they can hit me up ;)

A friendly reminder to consider supporting small businesses and restaurants when possible as it’s far more meaningful in these times. If they aren’t operating normally, consider a gift card to use at a later date.

Above all, the best gift you can really give anyone these days is your time, positive energy, and gratitude. Stay safe and healthy, AHD fam!

  1. For the hostess

It took me a while to jump on the Instant Pot bandwagon but I am a true convert. It’s made it more fun to cook at home and definitely cuts down the time spent.

I also have been eyeing this cool Asian spice kit by Om Som made by sisters and co-founders based in NYC!

  2. For the cozy homebody

Does anyone wear real shoes anymore? That hasn’t stopped me from buying them LOL but I find myself wearing these Uggs for all of my local errands. It’s like the slipper and the boot had a baby.

The Koop is a female owned, Brooklyn based candle brand that I’m obsessed with! Great price point for luxurious scents. Take advantage of the sale to stock up.

  3. For the makeup expert

My friends and I have been loving the mascara made by clean beauty brand, Ilia. I’m curious to try their cheek + lip stick. A two in one is perfect to have in the travel makeup bag!

  4. For the foodie who misses restaurants

Made in response to the coronavirus pandemic, this cookbook features easy, pantry-friendly recipes from some of NYC's best restaurants. 100% of the profits from this hardcover book will go to ROAR (Relief Opportunities for All Restaurants) x Robin Hood’s restaurant relief fund, providing cash assistance to NYC restaurant workers.

  5. For the gardener

Gardening doesn’t need to be limited to the summertime if you have one of these cool indoor gardens. I’d love to have fresh basil all year round.

  6. For the crafter

The Crafter’s Box supplies all the materials and tools needed for a fun project. Single craft kits or subscriptions available.

  7. For the one that has everything

Cuyana has timeless, high quality leather goods and I’ve been collecting their pieces over the years. A monogrammed jewelry box or toiletry case never fails when you’re stuck on what to get someone. They are offering a Black Friday sale on some of their best sellers.

  8. For the long distance friend you miss

Is there anything better than a New York bagel? No and this is not up for debate. Thanks to Goldbelly you can send anyone in the country a dozen NY bagels or any other local treat that may otherwise be hard to access. This is especially thoughtful for someone who can’t travel home this year. Give the gift of carbs!
