*Holiday Gift Guide 2019*

Since we received such a great response on our last holiday gift guide, we’re back with another one. These are the items we’ve loved using or wish-listed for the holidays. There’s something for all of the special ladies in your life! New for this year, we’ve included some ideas for the guys too. Check it out below…

P.S. This post is not sponsored… although we wish it was!

  1. For the one who’s hard to shop for:

-I’ve gone through countless hair ties and plastic clips which break or are easily misplaced, but this gold metal clip has lasted the test of time. It’s sturdy and so pretty to wear … also under $10. It’s almost always clipped onto my purse. It’s the best stocking stuffer too!

-Uniqlo consistently has the best prices on cashmere. This stole comes in a variety of different colors and is 100% cashmere for under $50. You better believe I’m buying this for myself.

  2. For the skincare obsessed:

With over one thousand reviews and a 4.5 star rating on Sephora’s site, this mini set is the best way to try out the super-popular skin care brand, Drunk Elephant. The products are “clean” and designed for all skin types seeking a youthful glow. Don’t forget my Sephora hack: always ask for samples of the fancy products like La Mer or Caudelie.

  3. For the one who needs pampering:

I’ve been really curious about trying acupuncture but the hardest part is knowing where to go. Luckily for us in NYC, WTHN (pronounced “within”) provides an ultra modern, personalized acupuncture experience by licensed professionals. The concept reminds me of Heyday or DryBar - millennial friendly and offering one standard service with slight variations. The price point seems really reasonable at $65 for the intro special.

  4. For the one who loves game night:

On an epic girls trip this summer, I brought this game for under $10 to play by the pool because it’s so easy to travel with. The rules resemble the board game version with a twist. It moves at a fast pace and gets really competitive! Easy one to keep on hand in a small apartment or take on a family trip.

  5. For the hostess:

Skip the wine and flowers, and instead get something that will be used everyday by the hostess. This hand soap smells incredible and looks beautiful in any bathroom. While the price feels steep at $40, it’s one of those things that you love as a gift because you probably wouldn’t buy it for yourself.

  6. For the chef:

We have a massive girl crush on Chrissy Teigen— how could you not?! I love her unfiltered personality and her love of food -check out her relaunched food blog, Cravings for lots of dinner inspo. Her cookware line at Target has a number of great gift options but this cast iron pot caught my eye at $40. It seems apartment friendly and multi-purpose. I’ve wish listed it for my new place!

  7. For the commuter/traveler:

2 months later, I’m still obsessed with this travel mug because it is sleek, practical, and affordable. This mug comes with 2 lids (straw and sip) and has a great seal so it doesn’t spill easily. It also keeps warm drinks super hot. I wouldn’t recommend using the plastic straw with hot liquids. I’ve even had the coffee shops make my coffee in it (some coffee shops offer a discount for BYO mug). I purchased the 16 oz for under $20. #reduceyourwaste

  8. For the one who’s had a tough year:

There is no better gift than quality time with the people you love. Bring over some wine and snacks, put your phones on silent, and just hang out. A scheduled FaceTime date also works in a pinch. We could all use a little more love, support, and empathy from the ladies we love. <3 Cost is $0.00.

  9. For the philanthropist:

Make a donation on behalf of your loved on to a cause they care about. Alternatively, you could buy a gift from stores that give back such as The Little Market and Feed Projects. It’s incredibly thoughtful and serves as a gift for you both. You can include the receipt in a handwritten card and best of all, no amount is too small!

  10. For the homebody:

When I turned 28, I decided I would only wear matching PJ sets to bed. I was ready to swap out faded T-shirts from college for silk tops and shorts. It also makes me feel like less of a slob when I wear them for 24 hours straight! PJ sets are great gifts because they can be super affordable or pricey yet always cute. Here are a few sets that caught my eye. Target - $20 / J-Crew - $62 (promo codes usually available) / Eberjey - $132

New! Here are 3 quick ideas for the men in your life.

  1. For the Fitness Freak:

I think we’re finally doing away with the stereotype that fitness classes are only for girls. Get your guy a few classes to a cool fitness studio he may not typically try like Barry’s Bootcamp, Title Boxing, or Orange Theory (prices vary). If he prefers his own gym, then you can gift him a workout app subscription so he can get more creative with his workouts - Peloton

  2. For the male friend/colleague/boss:

When in doubt, go with booze. It can be a top shelf classic or something artisanal or imported. Options are endless and to make it extra special, you can get the accompanying ingredients for a cocktail, like a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, or margarita.

  3. For the Stylish One:

Leave it to Lululemon to create the perfect athleisure pieces for men. They call these pants the modern take on the 5 pocket jean. From what I’ve observed, these pants are comfy enough to wear while traveling and commuting but look more professional than sweats or jeans. Is the male equivalent of leggings?!
